Hey, you’re on my get to know me page. My name is Shama, and I’m the voice behind Mad For Decor, a blog where I share my love for home decor, creative DIY projects, and the little details that make a house feel like home. 

What do I want to accomplish? To help you create a space that feels uniquely yours where style meets comfort and your personality shines through.

My passion for home decor started when I was a kid. My mum used to love decorating our house with flowers, lace pillows, small antique pieces and the best part she used to sew curtains and couch skirts herself.

Over the years, I’ve learned from her that designing a home isn’t about following every trend or having a designer budget. It’s about creating a place that feels like home to you.

Whether I’m sharing budget-friendly decorating tips or tackling a weekend DIY project. I want my content to feel like advice from a friend. Rather than following trends, your home should reflect your tastes.
